What Nonprofits Need to Know about Political Asylum and Immigrant Rights

Tuesday, March 28
12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Community Conference Center West

This event will be available via livestream here.

There is a lot of uncertainty, confusion and fear in the immigrant community as a result of the new administration and their policies. Recent spikes in scams, attacks, and the intentional spread of misinformation against immigrants in the US has further fed into this unease.

In partnership with the Political Asylum/Immigration Representation Project, the NonProfit Center is proud to host an informational session for the nonprofit community and the public about what rights immigrants have and the resources available to help, as well as what to expect in the coming months and years.

We hope you can join us as PAIR attorney Amanda Ekey presents on how to better assist this demographic both through our work as well as on an individual level. The better informed we all are, the better we will be able to stand in solidarity. Lunch will be provided for all attendees.
